Nautanki – folk operatic theater, or an art of showing a story or drama on stage – Akharra (training place for wrestlers) and Dastangoyi – the art of storytelling – have remained essential traditions of out culture. In a time when we have almost forgotten these arts, Fazal Jutt is trying to keep the art of Nautanki alive following the footsteps of his father Ashiq Jutt, who was a renowned Nautanki actor.
