Embroidery work on wood by an iron pen is called lacquer work or Jindri. Once there were hundreds of families in D.I khan doing this beautiful work of art but now there is only one left. After his father’s death, Muhammad Wasim, artisan of D.I khan’s only lacquer work family, kept his father’s legacy. Now his children are keeping their family traditions alive.
