Tanga buggy or horse cart was quite common in Lahore until recently. People not only used to travel on it but also loved it as an old tradition of the city’s cultural heritage. A walled-city based organization in Lahore, which works for the preservation and promotion of art and cultur, is trying to reintroduce this old tradition of Tanga ride. It has started Tanga travel on three routes in the city for four days a week, from 8pm to midnight. They believe it will not only revive this dying cultural tradition but also contribute in environmental protection. Know more about this effort in this Saga video.
